
Thursday May 25th, 1997 Parliaments / Funkadelic was inducted
into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame. This Honor was shared with fellow inductees:
The Bee gees, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, The Jackson Five,
Joni Mitchell and The Young Rascals. The 12th Annual Induction Ceremony took
place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. this
was the first Induction held in Cleveland.
The Rock and Roll Hall of fame Foundation was organized in
1983. The Hall of Fame is now an exhibit at the museum which opened to world
wide acclaim, Labor Day week-end of 1995.
